Checking over the engine today i noticed the split tube protecting the wiring to the oil pressure switch needed replacing as it had been slightly cooked

On removing the old split tube i found 2 wires on the plug, 1 small black and 1 small white with a fine red or orange line.
The white wire runs around the back of the back of the block and joins into the main loom - no problem.
The black wire comes out of the plug for about 150mm and thats it!! It does'nt connect to the loom at all. I was concerned that this wire could have become brittle and broken but can find no trace of a corresponding wire to re-attach it to?
The rave cd states it is connector # C187 and mentions 2 wires on the plug. It also says it is on circuit 12 relating to the TD5 Engine. I can find no reference to the oil pressure switch in the electrical diagrams
Can anyone more familiar with the rave electrical diagrams help me out? I am mildly concerned.....
Cheers Phill
