    Clean oil change 300tdi

I can't find it now but someone posted how to do a clean oil change when taking off the oil filter, by using a 2 litre soft drink bottle with the bottom cut off you then put it over the filter and spin it off keep it held under and it catches the filter and oil. Well it works I tried it yesterday and worked perfectly the cleanest oil change I've ever done not one drip of oil on my diff.
So a big THANKS for whoever posted it.

Thanks for posting that - I haven't heard of that one before.

Too bad you have to down two litres of fizzy drink first! (Burp!)

2 litre milk bottle works as well - then you have a handle, use it for fuel filters as well.

Original post (Changing Tdi300 oil filter - HINT) came from a South African site, I can only claim that I imported it!

Don't do that, you'll have to pay duty on it. And if it's not an approved Land-Rover tip, they'll confiscate and destroy it. And then there's all the paperwork!

They say they're trying to protect the Australian tip industry, but I think it's just a money-making exercise.
