    Haltech Interceptor

I have bought a Haltech Interceptor piggyback ECU (off eVilBay) to fit to the P38A.

    See Haltech - Interceptor

I want it dual mapped for petrol/LPG. Graeme Cooper now fits these instead of the UniChip. Has anyone had one fitted to their P38A (or other LR)?

I'd love to see the install or even pics of it. After install, I'd get it tuned on a 4WD dyno.

    Ahh, dunno, Khos.

Maybe Ward at Graeme Cooper can tell you.

Ron I was about to splurge out on a piggyback ECU (Unichip/Haltech Interceptor) as being last piece in the puzzle for my upgrade of a 3.9 litre V8. I will try and post this weekend the outcome of the power boost path I took inc some very surprising dyno results that showed the piggyback route was not warranted.

I'd be interested to see that Cockie. I'm never averse to saving money.

However, I can't see any other way to dual map the ignition for more advance with LPG

Ron scanner bugged so haven't posted my B4 and after dyno test (but before about to instal a haltech) yet. Take your point about dual maping driving what your doing (you can do this with either a replacement ECU chip or a Unichip/Haltech piggyback ECU for a 14 CUX/Hotwire, where GEMs requires 2X chips, ie one for fuel one for ignition).

So maybe instead of hijacking your thread I will post under a performmance orientated thread. that covers 3.9L V8 air intakes, MAF adjustments, re-chipping, timing, piggyback ECU's and exhausts.

Why not just fit a aftermarket computer that can be dual mapped like a wolf or a autronic would give much beta results ive even heard of a delco from a dunnydore running a rover efi/lpg set up with dual mapping for ignition curve and stactic advance il have a hunt and see what i can find for you ron may take a few days or so as im a bit busy at the moment

Do I understand you to say I'll need two Interceptors as well for the GEMS?

I haven't looked at the software yet. I was hoping the Interceptor could hold a couple of different maps.

I suspect it would take some work to set up a Wolf to a P38A.
