Thumbs up depressurise SLS without Testbook ? HELP

Hi all, I am about to replace my clapped out Air Springs. Can anyone tell me how to de- pressurise my SLS without having Landrover's testbook. The tech manual only states to exhaust air with Teatbook. Im sure there must be a way other than just removing a hose.
This will be a must know if an airbag fails out in the bush also.
any help appreciated.

I did mine some time ago on my RRC. I just jacked it up a bit higher and put 4 chassis stands underneath the car to stop it from dropping on my head while underneath, unplugged the ECU and slowly unclipped the feed line to the solenoid block.
When the bags were all back in position and airlines hooked up, I lowered it onto the bump stops, plugged the ECU back in, started it up and immediately switched it to access mode.
It takes some time to pressurise the tank and I found it easier and quicker to do it in this position. When compressor cut out, I moved it between access, normal and extended profiles.

the fittings should be a press in fitting, turn off the vehicle, jack stand the chassis and press in the hose, push down the fitting and then pull the hose back while holding the fitting down.

its easier to do in the valve body than on the springs.

mark it as you pull it out.

or

search out my thread on the suspension box I made up for doing this stuff...

you pay postage both ways and its yours to use.

Quick question, is yours a Range Rover or Discovery?

I know most things by now (out of necessity ) about the Discovery SLS. With the Disco (and probably Rangie) you can release the air at the compressor with a 10mm spanner on the r/h and l/h connectors (see pic below), just loosen them about two turns. Dont forget to put supports under the chassis first.

If yours is the Discovery, have a look at this thread.
