    Last planetary set I saw like that was out of a stolen/ recovered ex police pursuit 5litre VL commy Traumatic. They sure had fun in THAT until the trans blew

    A 350 and ZF That Disco will need a few spare ZFs or the owner needs to stop teeth gritting on loud pedal

    What you gonna run behind that blown rover motor

    Got another mate with a 383 infront of one, just about to be pulled down for alloy heads and swap in a ZF he's built, he doesn;t spend much time in the bush but

    Dunno what compression he's got as he calculated 9.6:1 but his cylinder pressures are 195-200psi, he thinks he made a miscalc, so do I

    The blowen rover won't kill many ZFs. The 3rd gear lock up with it might. I only have one spare box. Then its R380.

    What did your mate do to the 383. to end up with 200 psi I hope he's not using forced induction. Ave gas on order

    Thats a little unusual I would think for a ZF, normally a sprag would let go before the planetary set would give way.

    Anyone know who in Australia is equivilent to say Ashcrofts in old dart for upgrading ZF's inc torque convertors to handle more power???

    I thought that generally they just stuffed the 22 with 24 parts.
