    V8 VN Commodore engine loom?

I'm trying to put together a VN Commodore engine loom, Dizzy and Haltec ECU on a Supercharged Rover 3.9 in a 89 RRC.

I need to find a wiring diagram and some idea of what all the plugs are and value of sensors needed etc.
Had a bit of a search but not found much yet

I want to do this so is tunable, reliabe and serviceable in out back as dead Commodores and parts are easy to sorce compared to Lucas and Bosch Rover.
I hope it's worth the trouble to set it up.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks Tony

I am interested in what you are doing. I have often thought about retrofitting Holden EFI V8 engine management to my 3.5 EFI Range Rover.

It would be interesting to see what benefits there would be with regard to power and economy just from controlling fuelling and spark more accurately.

The megasquirt site has quite a bit on GM sensor values.
The Chev stuff is like the Holden stuff AFAIK.

Yes, agree about the local library. My local auto shops...all 10 of them or more told me they stopped selling the manuals because the library was taking all their business and people would just stick their greasy hands on them when they couldnt' work out what to do they'd nick over to the shop.

I had to mail order my manual for a holden after thinking it would be real easy to get it.

I'd suggest getting the "MAx Eller" book as it is a bit better then all the Haynes ones and more in depth which is probably what you want.

At home (will be back tomorrow) I have 4 EFI Manuals which cover VN through to VT V8 Commodores. They also have a lot of other stuff from the same era.

I can look in them for specific information if you require it.

    Thanks BigJon...
I'll post up some pics of what we are up against here tomorrow and will try to point out what I need to find out to get this thing to work.

I tried to buy a manual in Dubbo but none had any detail on this part
If I get one off ebay may be the same.

Why not try a Holden dealer? They sell the factory manuals which are far more comprehensive than any after market publication.
