    rough idle fixed!

Hey guys checked the Maf voltage settings with the help of the PDF available on this website and it was set at 2.11 volts way higher than recommended so adjusted it to 1.3 and the differences is huge, such an easy check, Disco 0 Me 1

It cant hurt to try. Its generally the first thing to check on rough idle and is well worth the $50 you pay for a meter from Dick Smiths.

Its never failed me yet with my own and countless others I have done it for!

thanks for the MAF tip i will check it. my landy also cut out when reaching normal temp but only when it feel like it. had it at the dealer for a week and it won't die. on my way back home it died on me. they say sorry they can't help now I'm trying myself. I changed the fuel pump but no luck. is there anything else that I can check. the engine will also sometimes rev high at start up and then shut down but can be restarted emmediately. but when it shut down while driving it must stand for 4 to 5 hours before it will restart.

Try the ignition amplifier .... They love doing this to you when they get to the end of their life ..... and the above description fits it

Next time it shuts down ..... try tipping some water on it to cool it down, if it fires straight up .... then replace it
