I have a series 3 with stuffed front chassis
I am using the motor and box in another vehicle and am thinking of converting the back half into a trailer, anyone who has been down this road or can offer advice or pros and cons would be appreciated.

SubscriberI remember seeing an overseas club had a trailer made from a series 1 lwb tub & it had everything & you could buy the plan's to build it but i lost all the info . But the trailer was AWESOME..

I have a 109 rear body earmarked for conversion to a trailer. I would not use the Landrover chassis as it is far heavier than needed since you are not carrying the mechanicals. You could use the springs and shocks but the axle is another question. All depends on your structural and mechanical skills.
