Series 3 Wgn into a trailer??!!

I have a series 3 with stuffed front chassis
I am using the motor and box in another vehicle and am thinking of converting the back half into a trailer, anyone who has been down this road or can offer advice or pros and cons would be appreciated.

yep, Ive done it with a shorty and gave it away when it was near completion.

have a search for it, its got the pics and the plans.

Providing the money and time holds Im doing it again from scratch with a LWB body.

I was just speaking to a guy who has done one. I'll try to get pics. What in particular should I take pictures of?

I have a 109 rear body earmarked for conversion to a trailer. I would not use the Landrover chassis as it is far heavier than needed since you are not carrying the mechanicals. You could use the springs and shocks but the axle is another question. All depends on your structural and mechanical skills.

IIRC "Foz in Oz" has a pretty cool one as a camper behind his Fender. It should be a thread on here as well somewhere.
