wesburn to gembrook sat 16th

today we did a trip from wesburn to gembrook,
the line up inclueded 2 disco's(mickashay, dassaw) a defender(rangieman) and to mates of rangieman in a toyo and nissan.
we stated of in wesburn letting our tyres down in the rain, next we checked out the log dump hill but decided it was a bit wet and slippery,we drove a bypass around and headed of towards 3 bridges we turned onto a nice hill climb thinking it wont be to hardwe headed up a little way when we hit the first of the fun,the nissan and toyo being pretty much stock had alot of trouble, after the toyo did his 30 tries we snatched and winched him up to the next section.the next section then took 4 hrs to pass, first up i drove up not to many problems up first go,then came the toyo making it up half way before becoming stuck,so after another snatch over 1 bump we pulled the toyo over and let the nissan up,after a few goes and getting stuck the nissan drove a differnt line and up over a massive boulder to do the best drive of the day for sure, next up was dassaw and he just crawled up as if a sunday drive no probs at all, next rangieman came up making the first bump ok then diffing out on the next part after a few runs ploughing the track we hooked his winch up and started winching up but after the battery playing up i hooked on my winch and gave a hand after getting the fender up next was the toyo again, going nowhere i winched him over the boulder and were off again,we cruised the track through a few mud holes(one involeing me sinking in)then to the end of the track for some lunch.next we headed down to 3 bridges and onto barber hill trk a very steep rockey section which every one made ok then down the other side a nice and slippery desent, after this we cruised towards gembrook coming out onto ash landing trk and heading over to andersonswe dove anderson ok till 1 section stopping all except the discos, rangieman gave it a good go as well as the nissan but couldnt get themselves over a few rocks,so with them turning around myself and dassw drove andersons then came aroung and meet back up with everyone,by that time it was getting dark so dassw took off home and the rest of us drove into gembrook and made our ways back home.
cheers guys for coming out for the day,had a blast will do it again soon
cheers mick
post pics when you want there should be a few good ones
