Hi Andy,
Just put in a service exchange unit from Rovercraft, Ashcrofts unit. I rang around and they had the best ? price. Discovery Automotive will rebuild yours for around the same money, depending what needs to be replaced DA could be cheaper. Mine had 200000km on it and bearings were shot, internal diff and probably a whole lot of other bits. Service exchange is quick and easy, great shame no one in WA has locally rebuilt units off the shelf.

yeah they are all around two grand aren't they i was looking at importing one from the u.k.
As i wanted to buy one out-right(as i wanted to rebuild the old one as a spare) from the U.k. i can get one for similar money,it really is dicey trying to get one hey ?
So you used rova craft ?
Jordons rovertech reckon a rebuild will be just under a grand ...i think they can be sloppy, but if the screw me over they will regret it haha !

If you're thinking of importing, now is the time to do it, the exchange rate is ~ 2:1 (never been better)... on the other hand, if they keep printing money, it may go down further still... hmmm

As for getting it done locally, I'd try someplace else.
