G'Day

Hi
I'm new to the forum thought I should say hello

I recently became a Land Rover owner, last week, bought the new FL2 TD4 great vehicle (I used to be a Subaru owner). Haven't had a chance to take her off road yet, planning a trip to Wedge next WA long weekend, June I believe, should be fun!
Cheers Pauline

Ah yes, my dear wife has decided to see what all the fuss is about and got herself a Landrover. Methinks I've created a monster ...............

No doubt I'll now be making up bits and pieces for the FL2 as well - she already wants rock sliders, side-steps, front guard. No rest for the wicked .....

Cheers,

Gordon

Welcome

Welcome to the forum

The FL2 is a great car, I was very impressed when I had one as a loan car for a while. Thought it went *really* well for just a 1.6, until I realised it said "I6" on the boot, meaning the 3.2 litre In-line 6 motor... Doh!

Welcome Pauline. Unfortunate circumstances to have replace your car but this has to ba the silver lining. Gordon, what was the outcome with your D3? I just put two and two together this week going through some previous 4wd Action issues and saw your truck in there,(sweet lookin unit), and wondered wether it is still drivable.

I've just posted an update on the D3 forum.

Cheers,

Gordon, are you sure its the wife who wants the new bits, or are you looking for a comp back-up vehicle once you have replaced yours? A nice and light FL2 should float over the soft sand and mud pits.
