Camping near lake/river plus 4wding

A mate of mine (in Esperance, with a Range Rover) wants to go camping at the end of the year. He has a ski boat he's been working for 2 years and is finally up and running. So he's all excited about taking it away for a week or two.

Just wondering if anyone knows of any good areas South that will be suitable for water skiing and 4wding? I remember reading of a lake that was re-opened to boats recently but can't find out where i read it.

TIA

Dannie

Camping / Skiing / 4WDing

Hi there Dannie,

Went to Bremer Bay last December, great camping and 4wding. There were lots of boats out, maybe more fishing. Don't know if ther are ant restrictions, there are quite a few bays with calm waters for shiing. Maybe contact the locals and enquire.

Cheers,

Jurgens

People with boats I go to Woroona dam for skiing and they have an offfroad track but I'm sure there's good 4wding in the area. Google Woroona dm and have a look.

Regards

Mark

Glenn Mervyn Dam between Collie and Mumballup is not bad, but depends on how much water is in it. You are not supposed to camp there, but if you get around the otherside and back up in the bush
MM Esperance, what colour and year is the RR?

Pretty sure I know the one. Saw it up for sale I believe and was tempted just for the beach use.
