WAULRO Trip, Moore River & Nine Mile Swamp - Sunday 7 Feb 2010

After chatting with a few people last weekend and following recent posts on here, there seems to be good interest in doing a Moore River trip, I've been really keen myself to get back up there with a trip , so here goes:

What: Moore River Trip + Optional return via 9 Mile swamp & Brand Hwy
When: Sunday 7 Feb 2010 - 8:30AM departure.
Where: Meet at the 10th Light Horse Heritage Trail pull-in area off Waneroo Rd - see link to Google map below.
Bring: Air compressor, whatever recovery gear you have, packed lunch.
UHF Channel: 10
Leader: D3Jon

Google Map of meeting point: 10th Light Horse Heritage Trail - Google Maps

After playing in the river and tracks at Moore River, and after lunch those that fancy more adventure can return with me via Nine Mile Swamp & Brand Hwy. Those that want to stay on the 'Western side' of things can easily return to Perth straight down Waneroo Rd.

Please post here if you are coming along.

Cheers,

Jon

Big Maybe

Hi there Jon,

Sure didn't take you long to get things started.

Put me on the "Maybe" list for now. All depends on when they start to dig the pool.

How did it go with getting the landy back to 4WD status?

Cheers,

Jurgens

Put me down as a "possible but unlikely".
Don't want you hanging around waiting, if I'm going I'll be at the meeting point well before departure time.
My D2 V8 and water have a bit of a history!!

Need to seriously think about this one....

Sounds like it might be a good day. If Jess isn't working we'll be there. If she working then I'm on the maybe list.

I'll let you know in the next couple of days.
