Series 3 109 Bulkhead onto Stage 1 V8
Aug 02, 2014 - 12:58 AM - by ajv1971
ajv1971's Avatar Hello,
I have purchased a 109 V8 Stage 1, but the bulkhead is rusted out.
I also have Series 3 bulkhead in perfect knick.
Are they interchangeable? Minor mods maybe?
Any info appreciated, the Stage 1 bulkhead isn't beyond repair.
But a swap seems easier if they are the same.

Ebay sales, What cheeses me off
Aug 02, 2014 - 12:00 AM - by Kevin B
Kevin B's Avatar What really cheeses me off is a seller that puts a vehicle up for sale and then puts a buy it now price, and in the add body they use the phrase,

"BUY IT NOW PRICE IS FOR 1 WHEELNUT"

Who in there right mind would buy a wheelnut for 200 bucks.

Ashcroft ATB diff is sensing a flat tire.
Aug 01, 2014 - 9:02 PM - by benji
benji's Avatar Currently I've got a slow leak on the driver's side front. As the ATB is in the front, when ever the tire gets below 25psi it'll start pulling to the left.
So that proves something I've been wondering about. And that is that a flat has less rolling circumference.

lt230 1.2 vs 1.4 speedo drives
Aug 01, 2014 - 8:19 PM - by madrangie
madrangie's Avatar Just was thinking about the speedo correction thingy again, upgraded from 29 to 33 inch tyres i have a 1.4 transfer case but it howls quite loudly. As i have a 4.6 i think the 1.2 ratio t/c (which i have also good condition)would be fine but the speedo it out. I have read about the speedo drive cog ( 20 21 and 22 tooth ) I believe the 1.2 runs a 21 tooth cog can i just change to a 20 tooth cog or do i need to alter the internal drive aswell ?
