I've been hinking about colours lately for my beast. Original plan was the standard DBG with the right bits galved as if it came from the factory but I have been toying with the idea of getting it done in a metallic bronze similar to what the recent limited edition defenders came out as. Only problem is that I cant figure out what the canvas colour should be to make it work. Missus is telling me I'm being daft though, and to stick to my original plan :p

Yours not being an Aussie one would be DBG I would think...hey it is your truck do what you like with it...if you are not going back to original go for it:D


Ours is not original as in we have made mods that the purist would not like but hey it is hh's truck...

on the other hand my series 2a is totally original from AMF spec and i like it that way:D

I prefer the one for Iraq, the tan seems to be a darker burnt colour to the almost pink of the regular AusCam.

HH has been trolling the US sites ad found some nice ones ...do a serch;)

Congratulations on the RWC, now all you have to do is to get it Regoed,if there are problems just quote the Rego no of one that is already registered,as it depends on the "operator" as to how well you go ;)

BTW. I have Bob Morrison's book Landrovers in the Gulf War (GW-1) which has colour pics of the 101's and their Camo and markings
