Peter - that is the original fuel filter - you are either missing the water catch bowl which goes to the right or the filter or you have not put it on yet :D.
Your alternator is the wrong colour :o - I am green with envy - great looking engine.

I'll keep my eye out for that model number. I'll save that pic for later as I wasn't sure exactly where the fuel filters were supposed to live.

The water catch bowl was off in this pic as the bowl seal was stuffed, you can see the pipes and bolt holes to the right of the filter.Quote:
