It'd do it a lot faster now, it's half the weight it was running there.
Was that in a 101???? What's it look like??
Yup, the former Piper 7 Recovery.
Running a breathed on Efi 3.9 (we reckon 230-240bhp) and in the video loaded to the gunwales with rally recovery gear, a massive crane and a few other bits.
There were events where it was clocked faster down stages than competing cars.
It looked like this when it was fully kitted out.

Fantastic! I used to be involved in/with AMRO, and we ran as Falcon Recovery. There was a white 101 kicking around with a 3.9 efi belonging to Chris Tomley.. Wonder if that is still about. Was great fun!!! Cheers for the pic and info! :)
Thought you guys might like to see the two 101's that AJ has for sale... This is the first, which is the RAF vehicle.... which as Ron said is a 24v V8 hardtop....
And this is the second which is a 12V V8 ragtop. Both are RHD. :)
That hard top roof is actually pretty neat. Not sure I completely dislike it, i maybe even think its pretty cool?
Never come across Falcon, the main ones round here are Atlas, Piper, Galloway and Viper. I know a few of the guys who run them, the rest you kinda pick up with Facebook groups etc.
I had heard of another 101 doing rally recovery down south somewhere, that's as far as my knowledge went.
What's this 101 invasion :)
Have these 101s been bought here unsold ?
Yup, the 'one down south' would be Chris. Will try and catch up with him, and get some pictures. As for the invasion. Not sure of their story/history but know they r for sale.
