Thread is pretty much chit chat anyway so I dont think it matters too much if we stray from the original topic.

Got an email from AJ (or Bev). Since ARB have changed the air locker model for the Salisbury, they now get a factory ARB locker and get the gears modified for you on an as required basis.

Not sure on the front diff yet. Its cleaned up nicely but wont really know until I've given it a run. I dont imagine it will do too many kilometers before I pull it down so happy to know I can get an ARB easily enough.

My door tops are actually pretty good so not a worry for me. Door bottoms on the other hand need a fair bit of work

Hello all. Door tops are £250 excluding VAT (same as GST) per pair, but we wouldn't have to pay any VAT as overseas. I've sent an Email to see what the postage is going to cost. Will keep you all informed. Re fitting/quality I'd always been led to believe they are well made... Has anyone heard different.....?

A silly question - can you confirm these are 101 tops and not series 3 tops. Also are they just frames or the completed item? The pic would indicated the completed item.

The price is for a pair of complete (inc glass and latches etc) extruded aluminium door tops to suit the 101. He's yet to get back to me on postage costs. By all accounts there was a lot of interest and requests for them in the UK, so when they imported a batch of Series type tops, they ordered a load of 101 door tops, had them made and imported.. Funnily enough, when the time came to pay for them, those that wanted them all went quiet!!! Might be time for a bulk order...

I remember a post on the UK forum about a pair of these being fitted. Big gaps that needed lots of adjustment and some slight modification to get an acceptable fit. Not sure if it was in the club section but don't have any access anymore to check. Could just be inconsistent land rover build quality???

Nope just checked they appear to be Craddock items.

edit* Seems like its Craddock and Rocky Mountain - or Craddocks sell Rocky Mountain. Just found this in the sections I can still view. Perhaps this is why the interest dissapeared:

Its viewable by non-financial members - i.e. me.

And this thread is where all the interest came from:

Bump. Did anything happen with the door tops? Interested to her what the fit and finish is like from local members.
