    Painted the new tow bar receiver and wheel carrier earlier in the week and got it all fitted this morning

    I,m happy with how it's turned out, might take it for a spin Tommorrow and see if it drives and brakes better with the weight out the back.
    I did hook up th camper trailer and had a drive round the block, seems to tow ok.

    Re mounting the spare, I found with mine that if you have the carrier locked open, and the tailgate down, you can rest the wheel against the open tailgate, flip it up onto the tailgate and then position it ready for the carrier. With it at a sensible height its then easy to lift and walk around and position on the carrier. With a nut sat in the RHS (box) of the rego plate holder its ready to grab once the wheel is hung in position.

    I also incorporated a hook device so once the wheel is up there it can hang without falling off and it's the correct height to just rotate and line the studs up
