    Corowa

    So I headed off to Corowa this year - great event.

    Left home at 2am on Saturday morning:

    Easter

    Hi All,

    So I took off in the 101 to go camping in Erica / Walhalla this weekend..

    Right next door to the caravan park was a yard - with old cars in it, rusting away.. A sad sight really... I counted at least 8 cars in there.



    This car seemed especially sad..


    Next drove into Walhalla and parked up the 101:

    Then walked up to the cemetery - set high up in the hills...





    Then off on a train ride to Happy Creek and Thomson:

    The 101 went great - just need to win tatts and consider a diesel heart transplant...

    Wombat

    Echuca Trip

    Hi All,

    Took the 101 to the AULRO trip in Echuca this weekend...

    Set-up at camp:



    Around a great camp fire:


    The Murray is very low:


    Next day went into Echuca - a nice cannon!


    Drove to the Moama market for the misses to enjoy herself, mean while I walked back into Victoria:

    Good to see you're getting some use out of the 101 now. We did a blast out to a local property this weekend too and had a few nights in the 101. Thinking yours would be a bit more roomy!!

    Took the 101 for a spin yesterday - and met up with fellow AULROians and the National Steam Centre in Ferntree Gully...

    The 101 sitting amongst some other lovely vehicles..

    Took the 101 off to Rushworth, Tatura, Murchison area yesterday/today...

    Camped by Lake Waranga..

    Here is the 101 set-up.. (Not much to it to be honest):




    I found this one tree out on it's own..


    Went for a long walk across to the lake shore..


    Three Pesky Pelicans didn't want their portrait taken:


    On the way back to camp found this rusty old horse shoe - that's got to be one in a million!!


    This mornings sun rise:


    I considered trying to catch-up with Dave - but I figured that he would be at the Grand Final... Maybe next time.

    Was a nice, quick break...
