    Jerry and Tom

    Hi All,

Over the last few weeks some supplies have arrived, and now everything has been fitted....

    1 x Jerry Can Holder (+ 5 Jerry Cans)
    1 x Gas Bottle Holder (+ a gas bottle)

I need to buy some R-Clips for each of the Jerry Can Holders - but apart from that, things are looking good.

    Hi Alien,

We're both very excited... No - not counting down the days yet, I'm way to busy at work to do that! I know that it will come up really quickly..

We are going camping on the night of May 28th - to give things a bit of a test drive!

    Not long now....

The Isuzu may be a bit harder to live with only a few inches away from your hip and the Old 8 may be thirsty, but it doesn't chew though gearboxes.

Id rather padlocks than R clips .Especially where your headed as the locals like the smell of it
I know it would be a pain in the butt using a key but a little prevention can save you the worry

For security the locks are a good idea.
I'd run with the R clips and fitt the padlocks when you feel it's needed/warented.
I do this on my setup and find it easy to manage.
Nothing worse than mud and grit in padlocks on the side of track.
    Cheers, Kyle

    Lismore Trip

    Hi All,

So I took the 101 off on a LROCV "Series Heritage" trip on the weekend.

After doing 500+kms in 2 days, I can confidently say that the engine cover modification has worked. The 101 cabin is definitely cooler/quieter.

Here is the 101 on arrival:

I would say - a reasonably rare "Series 2 LWB Station Wagon"... There can't be too many of those still kicking around:

Here is a selection of the vehicles:

    The camp fire..

And stopping off on the way home to stretch the legs:

A good weekend... Roll on the Big Red Trip I say!!

I even spotted Mick_Marsh lurking around in the bushes...

    Cheers,
    GG.

Looks like it was an interesting run out.. Some nice vehicles there. Just on the last pic, rotate your tyres, the XZL's need it often..
