But my reasoning, it's neat looking but tough,

My first GS was named Joanne, mostly because of the J's in the reg.

I've also had a 90 called Wendy, and a Series II called Duck (after the great western engine in the railway series stories).

As a general rule the V8's were girls, the diesels male, it's just the personalities they had.
Wendy used to sulk terribly if I stopped using her for a bit and drove one of the others instead.
It would usually mean a week or so of niggling issues when you went back to her again. Couldn't help but love her though.

Is it not because the neighbours think you're mad for building that there and the spiders have moved in two by two?
If that's the case, when it's finished, everyone will be wanting a ride in it.

It was 'Thomas the Tank Engine' over here. Had a fairly complete collection of the original books too.

Wow, bringing me back man. I think there were a few different shows based on the Thomas series. Had some of the original HO-ish sized toys too... I may still have some somewhere! Never had the books though...
