    101 thumper update

    hi guys
    well been awhile since last update sorted out electrics dual battery's
    fitted led lights on rear and light bar inside front grill all works great very happy with led across back
    I like to thank 101ron on help on air vent in front works brilliant on passenger side put one in behind grill bigger vent excellent
    cleaned up interior added my touch like carbon fibre look also put couple of steps lot easier to get in
    couple of aerial's so people can see me coming over sand hills
    sitec love those diff update really haul some ass down hwy now ha
    next stop bundy next weekend

    Looking good!!! They'll c ya coming for sure!!!! Re the diffs, makes a difference eh! Just need to do the Disco Dual Booster upgrade now and it'll lock the wheels!!!

    3.54 diffs in there now?
    Add in the high ratio transfer gears, and the overdrive I would guess it should be able to make the jump to light speed around 4000rpm in 4th Overdrive?

    Nah, he's got the 4.7:1's I was going to use. When I did my original calculations I was going to have 4.7's and a 1.003:1 Tfer, but then we had our conversation about gears not fitting thru the rear etc, so I went to 3.5:1 and 1.222:1 Tfer... The 4.7's are ideal for 101 still fitted with V8's.

    101 thumper

    hi guys
    just back from bundy long weekend cover 1000 km 101 went really
    well started to get feel with new diff ratio at 100km taco shows 2200 in overdrive in direct drive 100km 2600
    really hangs on in top gear on hills got some pulling power 3 gear great pulling gear
    poke along 95 100 km easy only problem was fuel gaugewas out half tank
    so will sort that out
    ave 23ltr 100km for first trip so look forward to next trip
    next job set up another fuel tank other side

    thumper 101 update

    well just update just finish make bull bar for 101 all sorted fitted some drive lights i had also made kayak rack to mount on trailer works well
    off to Clarence river near Grafton with gclro club for few days
