That would be so great thank you. Silly question perhaps - But how would we find the Chassis number? Is that on the registry?

Thank you for the updated info HTH.

We are also trying to find out what has happened with so many other belongings as we knew nothing of everything being rid of until it was all too late. I dare say the plates are still somewhere or in a bin.

The ultimate goal is to try and find the vehicle, see if our family can buy it back somehow and fit the plates that Pat had on it when I was growing-up.

I must see if I can find some of the original pictures and publish them on here too.

This is starting to look like an AULRO 101 mission.

I'm sort of in the opposite position - I bought a Series 1 on eBay from the nephew of his uncle that passed away in tragic circumstances. The uncle had a young son that maybe one day the S1 can find its way back to. That gives me about 15 years to get it running and licenced.

In the last few years that I believe Pat had the 101, he had the bodywork gone over and painted the vehicle in 2 pak British racing green (albeit a darker variant of the colour) and the "bumpers" were redone in a glossy black.

The canvas canopy was also remade with a very high quality result. The canvas side walls of the canopy had two large Velcro strips on each side for him to secure the firewood business signage to. He used the vehicle to tow around his wood chipper on occasion for work.

I believe this would have been done around 2001 onwards and he passed on 8/3/2008 in the Netherlands.

I'm not sure if that Tom on yer list is me but I've definitely got one. I brought it over from Scotland a couple of years ago. Soon to be unveiled after a heavy overhaul

    Start a thread.
    Put up photo's.

There is a descent sized 101 community over there in WA now.
You should organise a gathering for it's debut.
