Gentlemen still exist in the world

    Hi All,

So I was attending an LROCV event on the weekend for Series Vehicles.

A guy struck up a conversation with me about the 101 and it went along the lines of "I bought a 101 crate engine from the military a few years back to use on a project. I took the 101 bits off the engine and they've been sitting in my shed for years. The parts have never been used - would you like them?"

Naturally I grabbed the parts - although I have not had a good look yet because after the event I had to go to work..

I did offer the gentleman money - but he would have none of it, he was just happy that the parts would go to a good home..

    However these are the highlight....

On the weekend I should get a better look at the other parts, which I will post up..

    Cheers,
    GG

Proof that Unicorns exist as these are as rare as said animals droppings.

    More Parts

    Hi All,

I forgot to post up pictures of the other parts that I gathered when in Lismore..

I'm guessing - this has something to do with the air pipes / carbies?

    A viscous fan + blades:

    Carbies:

    No Idea:

    No Idea #2:

    No Idea #3:

If anybody desperately needs any of the above (not the manifolds - I've hidden them away) - please let me know..

    Cheers,

No idea looks to be an intake elbow that bolts to one of the carbies, gear stick brackets and some engine pulleys. If its twin pulley possibly of an ambulance for the air compressor??? No idea on that one.

No idea no.2 is another intake elbow, oil pump housing, thermostat housing and two rubber pipes could be for coolant or vent hoses for between the rocker covers and intake elbows (a couple of inline filters would also be used).

No idea no 3 is internals of oil pump, choke fuel line that goes between both carbies, throttle linkage that goes between two carbies, possibly another fuel line in the top photo, not sure not sure on bolts, plastic bowl is exhaust header bolt lock tabs and likely header bolts and some other little bits in there. Not sure what shiny shaft is for either but curious now??
