Hi Brute,
Thanks for the suggestion / picture.
My 3.9 isn't running the original 101 oil cooler. I have kept the cooler, but it's in really rough shape and the 3.9 oil pump casing doesn't have the 2 outlets anyway...
The ebay kit that you speak of - would you possibly be able to let me know which company/seller sells it? I had a quick look - and can see some UK based sellers. I always think that rather than re-invent the wheel, if somebody has used a product and is happy with it - then that's a good recommendation for me!:wasntme:
Cheers,
GG.

I cant find the info from when I bought it, but pretty sure it was just a Derale universal remote oil filter kit. You need to make sure it has the right adaptor for the pump housing. I think it is 3/4 unf but would be worth checking first.
Mocal also do a kit, but with the derale you can change the position of the
outlets by rotating the threaded insert to make the hoses come out at the best point for clearance.( parallel with the ground) The mocal just spins on until tight and you might not end up with much more room than a filter. (vertical to ground)

Hi fella... Unless I'm miss reading this, you have put the guts and cap of the 101 3.5 pump into/onto the 3.9 housing... If that's the case, then there's your prob.. The 3.9's pump gears need to stay with that pump... Re the pump cap/filter housing that should work ok on the 3.9 if it fits.. I didn't think they did.. If it were me, I'd be running the original 3.9 pump, and a remote filter housing as pictured in Brutes reply. Easy to access, room for a huge filter, and pump as standard. :)
