Pretty much - yes. Bellhousing and input shaft is shorter but the 101 items will bolt up to the other box. Not sure about the final drive ratios in the transfer case though. Bearman should be able to add some light to this conversation.
Gday All
Just wondering if a perentie lt95 will fit into a 101. the only differences I can see is the bellhousing/input shaft and maybe the high/low selector. im just assuming these parts are interchangeable. any input would be welcome.
Cheers Gaz

As mentioned you have to swap bell housing and primary pinion (input shaft) the Perentie box from a 6x6, or 4x4 GS or FFR is 0.97:1 where the original 101 is something like 1.12:1 but is a ratio swap frequently done by Anthony Johnson as an alternative to an unreliable overdrive. (AFAIK the Perentie 4x4 RFSV has the same transfer hi ratio as the original 101 hi ratio)
The Perentie also has tapered bearings in the transfer box where the original has parallel bearings.
Swapping the high range ratio doesn't affect the ratio of low range.

Mine has a .996 ratio with the overdrive and 36 tyres.......2800rpm = 100kph
Wish I had the heavier tapered bearings in mine.
