    101 de-ditching tools

I was doing a bit of reading and came across a post elsewhere. The information was the shovel used on the 101s was a 58 pattern short shovel.

I've got a couple in the 101 room.

Plenty of used ones on ebay. All you need do is buy.

I purchased Two , Ten years ago from Goulburn Disposals at a good price.
They were advertised as jeep service shovels.
They are exactly the same as the original, but have a thinner blade which can bend under hard use.
Ok for strapping on the front of the 101......I use one for camping trips...ie I use it and the other for show only.............some one must have made cheap knock offs.

There were a couple for sale at the swap meet at Corowa this year. Thought about buying one as the handle on mine is a bit ratty, but it suits the rest of the vehicle.
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.
