The transfer case has been converted to part time apparently so the previous owner tells me. i havent tested it yet as its only driven 3 metres onto the back of a car trailer where it still sits.
I know this badge is something to do with the rapier system but does the serial number mean anything and i see some vehicles have one and others dont. any info would be interesting. Gaz
I have no idea about the serial number but how cool is that!
Have you tried REMLR?

Yes all Aussie 101s had the logo which goes on the right hand side just behind the bumper but many of the logos have been removed over time.
See the screws still in my body for it.

Now the badge you have is not correct as looks as if it is a UK badge rather than the Australian badge - this is because your badge indicates a 12v vehicle where all Aussie 101s were 24v.
Here is an Aussie 101 with the Aussie badge
Rapier Logo1.jpg
As far as I understand, the serial number is unique to the vehicle but I have not found any records that link the serial number to chassis or ARN.
The late Peter Paskevicius (RIP Peter), Peter P on here had a very nice 101 called Can Do (now with the HoHars I believe) and we corresponded over many years when he was building his 101. As part of the project he made up a complete set of badges for the Aussie 101 and went into production for a bit but then passed on production to some organisation in the UK. I have a full set but cannot find them at the moment - I cannot remember for sure as it was 10 years ago but I seem to remember he was in a quandary about the serial number on the Rapier Logo as he recognised the number for each was unique but was not able to reference them - I cannot remember if he left the number blank or used an generic number on his reproductions.
REMLR in the 101 ARN section has a column titled "Body" with a couple of 101s with a number listed in the same format as the Rapier logo serial number but I suspect this number has not come from any official source but is owners advising REMLR of their Rapier Logo serial numbers - which does make sense.
However the badge you have is probably not the original one for your vehicle as it is for a 12v 101 and starts with 92 where Aussie Rapier serial numbers started with 91 (the exception may be the two trial vehicles - Ian Reed are you still around with your trial vehicle - I know it still has the original logo on it).
I hope this helps.

Interesting stuff.i removed it from the car to get the 10 layers of army paint of it so its been on there for a while. next to the 12v it has been stamped so im wondering if it had 24v and someone has stamped out the wrong one ? just guessing. would be nice to see a few more plates. as you were saying the two listed on reml are rons and peters/ho hars one. bit of a mystery.on another note i see on a remlr post that these were sent in three batches. and according to the arn numbers mine was in the last batch in 78. Gaz
12v coil that has 24v running to it. winch mount that has seen a bit of work. front bump stops that have also seen some work. door top markings.
