The simple answer is no I havent and I do not know of any 101 owners who have done it. In my experience not really needed for normal offroad use but in large rock areas I could see one being of benefit.
In my 14 years of 101 ownership, the areas I have hit are the bottom of the tanks which is basically a skid plate in itself, the Nokken winch drum which hangs down a bit and the front diff - I have scrapped the fins on the tfr case. I have never hit the engine sump, the gearbox and only touched the tfr case.
What areas underneath would you like to protect?
