the 101 exhaust sound - it's those awful manifolds - possibly the world's worst design for free-flow - but good for keeping the system way up off the ground!
It has a distinctive sound - no need for a sports exhaust.

The last two vids was with the Shoalhaven 4WD club earlier this year south of Nowra.
note the effect of bar tread tyres, stiff suspension and no weight in the back causing a bouncing effect.

Last weekend a mate and my self were playing with the 101 at a motor X track.
As usual the camera doesnt show the steepness very much.
Check the winch just kissing the ground first time around and the fuel tank just missing second time around.
We were going to jump the old girl off the motor X jumps, it is just that the fridge full of coldies was in the back and we didnt want to break or lose any.
May be next time.

The look on the motor bike riders faces was priceless as the 101 was going around the circults and meeting the riders coming the other way on the corners.
The old air horn and bullbar added to the effect.
Very smooth - 101s are arctic cool - motor sounds sweet! ... but I admit I was waiting for the one climb where you would hoon up at 6000rpm and get some air
Well found! shame about all that silly stuff in the middle...
