A fellow called Martin Vanman took most of the footage.
He got some good stuff of my 101 going up the loop track at Yalwal.
A Pinzguaer 6x6 went ahead of me and another behind.
The first Pinz had about the same amount of drama as I did and the one behind me just walked though it.
When I first seen the condition of the climb I was thinking no way the 101 was going to do it.(never looks as bad on the video).
I was very surprised that it got though without too much trouble and I though the 101 wasn't going to be anywhere near as good was the Pinz off road and hard going.
I need to raise the height of the bottom bar of the bull bar for the rock shelfs and more flex in the rear end and the 101 will be as good as it can be without turning it into a rock buggy.
Check Martin VanMan you tube of the 101 doing the climb

Good work Ron - the other thing that would help in those big rocks is power steering. I see you managed to not dent your wheel steps but came close.

I am sure the 6x6 Pinz went up there no issues (did they try the big steps?) but I think it would have been different with a 4x4 Pinz - it would have been harder going than the 101.

I think that my Haflinger would have got up following the line you took but only because it could fit between those big rocks more easily than the 101 but it would never have got up the steps without tipping over.

Great stuff - oh is that Ryan directing you - he is all grown up.

The L plates on the 101 on some of the footage of the day was so Ryan could drive it........gets Ps in a month or Two.
The Pinz didnt try the harder line, as it was alot worse in real life than in the video.
They did have a go in the rock garden near camp and were impressive.
I didnt try the rock garden as I dont risk damage to my vehicle just to show off and The Pinz were in a class of there own going down them due to the stability the extra wheel set gives.

Yes the 6x6 Pinz seems to perform a lot better in tight going than the 6x6 Perentie and is certainly very stable.

If I could get hold of a Brit made 6x6 Pinz Diesel I would be most interested.
