    F/C's on YouTube etc

    Hi guys

Thought I would post a video of a Kiwi friends recently roadworthy Series 2a Forward Control.
    YouTube - FAB loves water

Neil built the rear tray himself and yes it is a 3.5 Rover with LT95 on standard 4.7:1 ENV diffs.

You would have to admit that these series 2 FCs do not have the rugged beauty of the 101s - in fact you would have to agree they are butt ugly

But then I guess beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

    Them's thar fight'n words!

At least the civvy F/Cs had a designer rather than just a draftsman!

P.S. In truth I wouldn't mind either. - in fact my first was given to me!

P.P.S. Where are the 101 videos? I seem to remember a few weeks ago a 101 ex-ambo coming adrift down a hill. Come on guys post away.

Nah - your post just didn't seem to be getting much traction so I thought I would liven things up but you are the only one who took the bait.

That's better! It wasn't so hard which brought up another few!

I bet Phoenix doesn't have this one on the REMLR database!

Some more 101 video - shows the poor articulation of a 101.

Way too many of them 'rugged' 101s on here...
LOL - My FC is bouncing around like a mad thing on the rocks. The D90 with the cam on hardly moves!

The 101 above needs to carry some load in the back - FAB does the same when empty - but all the same it does look like it has no suspension at all!

    Great work Brookvale !
I dont have much footage of my 101 in action as I am always busy trying to steer the ship when the poo hits the fan.
I have to rely on friends to get the footage.
Alot of people have seen this before, but I though i would put it in the right spot.
I love the back fire going down the hill and the steam off the left side exhaust manifold and then the rover V8 burble going up the other side.
Naturally when I realised the camera was on me I had to get the water out of the air horn.

Even though the 101 has the same engine as RR or county - the sound of a 101 is quite unique - I am not sure why.

    Nice vids all round.
