Thanks Ron - the Wiltronics site seems to be the go - no wattage is mentioned but that size bulb will be around the correct wattage. I might buy a few on line to last me for a while.

EDIT - just saw`you second post - more good options thanks - I find it amazing that mainstream specialist auto electric supply companies like Ashdown Ingrams do not sell this stuff - just the same as Super Cheap and Repco - Narva, Hella and maybe Philips.

Probably don't sell them because that base is very seldom found in automotive applications. Some years ago I wanted some 12 volt ones and the only place I could find in Brisbane's south was a Tandy shop at Cannon Hill.

I have not had time to chase it , but it is common for electric forklifts to use the same globes in dash boards in 12 ,24,36,48 and 72 volts.

Thanks Ron - but the links provide by the other Ron are for companies that sell them - I will order some there and stock up.

I tried a tractor spare parts company thinking they would be like your forklifts but again they did not have any.
