    Shaky speedo

had some work done to the Defender today, which involved removing the dash guage fascia.

On the way home after picking it up, I noticed the speedo needle was a bit shaky. I assume this was somehow caused by the guys working on it.

Any idea how to fix it?

Most likely the cable just needs to be lubed. The movement of the dash might have slightly changed the position of the cable causing the inner wire cable to rub on the outer sheath. If this isn't the cause...check that the cable is correctly seated in the back of the speedo.
