Probably use a horizontal directional drill nowadays and go straight under the rocks anyway

Well, these should do the job. Decent luggy drives on 22.5" rims.

New boots are on!

Well, the new wheels arrived..., so this morning was spent fitting them. Not too big, decent footprint and an extra 8km an hr!

They look really good. Notice any difference in your acceleration?

Nothing noticeable, as they're not much bigger in the diameter. When I get into the build I'll be looking for an overdrive gearbox as it could do with an extra 25kmh.. something I can't achieve with tyres.

So yesterday avo was spent positioning a container and cabin.. After we were done I thought I'd see how far up a neighbouring 45deg hill the truck would actually go.. I wasn't game enough to try and get out, but with everything locked and tyres at road pressure I went 100 yards up a 40 deg slope! I'll be there next weekend at a motorbike event, so will get someone to take a few pics as I try to get to the top! Its one thing doing it in a 101.. Its even worse in a 12 tonner!!
