When everyone starts flashing their head lights because they think yours are on high beam:p

I have converted my 85 County wagon to a styleside ute. I used a Defender cab roof and back, the lower tub from a Defender hardtop (3 door) and a drop down tail gate from a Series. It all bolted on with no issues. You will also need sill beams as the sill beams are integral with the wagon body. (Series ones are good as they are galvanised and bolt straight on).
I removed the wagon body on my own in an evening using a block and tackle and some ratchet straps. The firewall, front doors and windscreen stay in place. The whole job could easily be done in a weekend if you were motivated.
Gee , thanks Vlad. Now I feel so much better about missing out on that ally tray for $ 200:D
Thanks Garry and Mark.
Garry , by styleside do you mean a ute tub as compared to a tray?
Mick , sorry I did mean to say rear bulkhead , upper and lowers.
And I need the door sill beams as well;)
