Tires as delivered on new 130 dual cabs good?

I havent heard of many whom are getting those sorts of KM......we have found the harsh SA summer road heat damaging them.

My views.....but the 130 is now a pleasure to drive with new tyres which dont cost $400 each.

We have destroyed 8 XZL's in under 60,000 kms...mind you we have travelled the Plenty H/way, Gibb River road, Nathan River, Tanami Track and recently the Darling River Run....never had a flat tyre but they don't handle the weight when loaded very well

We now are running Desert Duelers which are a lot cheaper and easy to get hold of when remotely travelling;)

I've gone the Desert Dueller option again. They seem to be good enough for what I want. What is concerning though is the ability to find 750R16s, I wonder what my next set will be?

I have the old mid nineties 5 1/2 inch rims and that makes even biting the bullet and changing to 235/85 (six of them) a difficult option.

I reckon in 4 years when I need my next set, concepts like "road noise" and "onroad in the wet" etc will be irrelevant, I'll be getting whatever fits.
