The difficulty is sourcing a set of Wolf ( tubeless ) rims at a good price.

70 - 100mm (i.e. 35 - 50mm per side) more track width on a fender is quite a lot. More than 30mm will put 235/85/16 tyres outside the original flares.

Mine are 30mm more width and are just inside the flares.

The other consideration would be mounting of the spare on rear door. On the standard mounting bracket my rim just clears the brake light when rear door is fully open. Also the weight of the wheel is shifted further out from the door.

But you did get the bearmach carrier which may overcome these potential issues.

BTW the backspace on standard d1 rims are 135mm.

I'm thinking for all the $ and effort and seeing as I'll have a spare set of Tubed , 130 Wolf style rims , I might just fit up the BFG Mud terrains with tubes on these spare rims , as trip tyres and run around on the General Grubbers for most of the time.

Still unsure as to the benfits of changing offset etc, if running around on Boost alloys most of the time and only ever intending to fit 235 85 R16 tyres to the spare rims.

My County seems to have a better turning circle with the 130 rims fitted and maybe the steering stops have been adjusted. Then again maybe it's just my imagination:o
