    Madman EMS2 fit

Anyone know if the Madman EMS2 fits into the existing defender dash?
(ie Take out one of the existing gauges and fit the EMS2 with the square flange to the rear so it looks like the other round gauges)

Someone did it on the forum and I think the dash required a minor adjustment. The supplier should be able to tell you

Yeah it will fit into the defender dash,
you will need to do a little bit of dremel work on the rear of dash panel to grind down the mounting ring and then drill 4 holes for the socket head screws, works well, looks neat.
    Who uses the clock anyways!
I have EMS2 in left hole and then a pair of fuel gauges in the other two holes one for each tank.

If you have a Puma, it will fit nicely on the angled dashboard on the driver's side, see pics of mine:

My dash looks pretty similar but have the EMS in the left position, then two fuel gauges in middle and right...

Where;s the best place to get them? through the website?
how hard was it fitting the sensors?
i've been thinking about this one for a while now. does it do the standard engine temp as well as exhaust?

Yep, order it through the website, but make sure you have all the relevant probes for your engine & transfer box - the probes for 300Tdi, Td5 and Puma are different.

The unit can only do one oil temperature - so either you monitor the engine or the transfer box. In my case I chose the transfer box, since I am already monitoring EGT, Coolant Temp & Level and Oil Pressure.

I had the whole system fitted by a landy mechanic - took them a couple of hours. Any mechanic should be able to fit this unit, but a landy mechanic will know the optimum spots to fit the probes, wiring, etc.
