No worries, I am going to trying to get the rear in today
Cheers,
Nice
Is it just me or are those arms cranked at both ends in opposite directions?
Never see them done like that before.

Yes they are and I am yet to figure out why????? One thought It might be to deflect objects off the mount? I really don't know why, it might become more aparent when they are installed......

Did a bit of work today but unfortunatly the rain mafe progress slow.
Got the spacer blocks in on the rear sway bar. This is to bring the angle of the link arms back to where they were before lift. I think it made a differencehard to say but the angles all look a lot nicer now.
And the second thing I got in on the rear was the Old Man Emu LTR shockies (Second hand - Thanks Jake). Now I know I can feel a difference with these. I think it will be even more noticeable when I get the front pair installed. I think I may still need to put something between the braided line and where it passes over the corner of the body work. It feel a bit tight there and I am not sure how much rubbing they can take??
Still got a bit to install but I am not sure how much time I'll get before the Fraser tripOh well I have learnt not to rush these things.
Cheers,
Looking good John.
Where the braided hose is rubbing, get a piece of normal rubber hose, split it along its length then cable tie that around the braided hose.
Will solve the issue.

Thanks Pete was think something along those lines.
hey , just wondering, how much did that tail shaft set you back and where from ?
Last week I got the trailing arms installed. I can say when you hold the old and the new in each hand, I think the HD ones will take much more of a hiding!
Chaulk & Cheese
Very easy to install, first one took 40 minutes being carefull, the second about 20
The front shockies, turrets, relocating cones and spring retainers, went in today.
This all up took around 5 hrs (Thanks Rainman for helping!) not real hard but I wouldn't like to put the spring in by yourself unless you had something to hold the shocky up.
Much beefier shocky and turret.
Slight mod to get the remote in.
Looks good and drive real nice on the way home
Only last bit of this kit to put on is the Double Cardon prop shaft. Tried to do it last weekend but ran into a problem with non compatible flange!!
But thanks to MR Automotive,I now have a new output flange for the transfer case that will match. I have no idea what went wrong with the ordering???
The web site description states for 07 Pumas TDCi engines?? I am still waiting to hear back from Devon re what went wrong? Oh well mistakes happen
Maybe next weekend to be installed......
Cheers,
