To a degree the body has no choice but to give,cross axle your vehicle with the door open and then try and close it,you'll get an idea how much they twist. Pat

if i open my back door when fully crossed, i cant close it till i drive out of it

latch is out buy a good 5-7 mm

Mine's done the same thing - haven't followed it up with LR yet.

Done 35k, some dirt, lightly loaded roof basket.

Hi trailcutter,
my 2010 110 has the cracked roof at the join aswell. Take it back to the dealer and atleast register it with the service centre so that when it gets worse it will be repaired and not observed. Mine is being observed at the moment and repaired when they fix the rust in the rear panel and replace the rear diff. But I was told it won't leak water as it is a large overlap between the two sections.
