    Just picked up this story on my aulro app this morning which I think the landrover world community should read about , and people wonder why we love landys , well this is it !!

    Just had a look in the old mans diary, this day exactly 30 years ago we were just packing up and heading off to Cape York from Trinity Beach. Also its's first service was about a week ago at Townsville!

    Still havn't locked in a day Lockee, farm life has got in the way as it tends to do this time of year, but I will let you know. Have been in regular contact with Jim, he's been giving her a spit and polish for me!

    On another note, I have just sent Land Rover themselves a lengthy email drawing their attention to this thread and the whole story, will see what comes of it!
