Got the radiator pulled out the other day and they said it was 70% blocked. Surprised they got a new core that day! Cost me $800 but at least it's done now. It seems to take an awful lot more time to come up to temp but still sits about half. Haven't had it on the highway yet to see if it still climbs a bit or if it will run cooler. Explains why I blew a top hose a few weeks ago!
I get my rad flushed every 18 mths or so, and I run a coolant filter. The filter picks up a few grains.
Tefba filter, google or search eBay will bring something up.
