My drive train/gearbox/handbrake diff pinion clunk etc, or whatever, is almost nothing for the first 5ks on a cooler morning, but after that on every gearchange I get a clunk. I have also heard awful slap/rattle noises when hot and on the overun at speed. Also, yesterday I received a recall notice for the oil on the handbrake bit. I'll get this done in the next couple of weeks.

Wondering if this may be related. I've also experienced erratic idling most recently, that appears to be connected somehow.
Anyone make any headway here?
