Probably seemed a good idea at the time.


PS: My 1986 County didn't have air conditioning and if I opened the air vents behind the dash the next time it rained I got wet feet even if they were closed. So I sealed them up and never opened them. Result - no need for heating in winter and wide open windows in summer....and still hot.
