Thread: 1993 200tdi power loss after fitting safari snorkel

It's only 52mmID on the 300Tdi too, that's why mine got the chop and modified.

The snorkel came with the car otherwise I would've fabbed one up out of stainless tube too.

Like all problems,not every one is going to have a problem,but there are plenty that have.And have you done a check to see if the whole inlet is vacuum sealed,unless you have taken the ducting off that runs under the heater box,you would not even see a hole worn in it,I know I wouldn't have seen mine unless it was physically removed.
