    Puma Windscreen

Day two of Puma ownership and her indoors copped a ding in the
windscreen and I recently followed it up with a couple more.
Can anybody recommend a place in Perth where I can get a good deal on a
new one. Any idea on fitted price approx ?
Most of my mates up here recon that you are up for new one every year.
Tojos at work are always in the shop for them, and other things.

Should not be that dear unless it has the heated element in it. If it is just glass only a couple of hundred bucks. Do you have a panel beater or autoglass in Panna? If so check the price with them first.
Worth having the free windscreen cover up here, but no worse than anywhere else.
From memory if it is one of the heated element screens I think prices jump tp $1200 odd.
You and PAT303 from over here must have got yours just days apart.

Got mine in early Feb this year and I,m well pleased with it.
Just been informed by her indoors we have cover for windsceen, so hope to
get it sorted in a couple of weeks. I had couple of new Disco,s with
heated screen did not it on the Fender.
Also its getting a new EGR operating strategy to make it more ecconomical.

They are cheap, had one replaced as well, can't remember costs, didn't have to wait for it was in stock.Don't ever break a side window, they are harder to get & a PITA to fit.The front w/screen should be cheap as it is only a flat sheet of glass.

As for the Tojo windscreens,we keep going through them in our vans, they are very thin, cheap crap. The D2 w/screen is a lot thicker & a lot stronger.

Recently had mine replaced after a rock strike. It was covered by my insurance...one free replacement in each year of the policy. I had O'Brien replace it and they sorted out the paper work with my insurance company.

They guarantee the installation so if it leaks then they have to fix it..fortunately I still own the only Defender in Australia that doesn't leak
