Steel Wheel Nuts. Size? Part Number?

    Hello All,

Just sold a set of steel 130 Wheels to a fella I met via ebay. (With any luck he'll pop up here shortly....G'day Andrew) He has a shiny new Def90 Puma - very noice!

Anyway, he was after the size (and/or part number) for the steel wheel nuts to suit. I said I didn't know off the top of my head, but new just the place

So please make Andrew feel welcome and if you have some info on nuts, he'd love to hear it.

(Oh, and Andrew, don't forget - Lot's of PICs please )

    Howdy people!

Its Andrew here. As sleepy mentioned below im a proud, relatively new owner of my first Defender 90!...and loving it!

Just though id say hi and introduce myself and the 90...Pics attached!

As mentioned im putting a set of steel wheels (assuming wolf wheels) on the 90 and need to source the right wheel nuts. Are these tapered nuts??

Any info would be greatly appreciated

thanks again sleepy for the post and l look forward to crossing paths with everyone in the future!

    cheers

    Hi Andrew,

Welcome and great choice of Landie! You'll find 90 owners (especially Pumas) to be a bit on the scarce side on here, but we are about and we all share the joy of owning the most capable stock offroad car ever built! Even Top Gear rated them sub-zero cool

I'll now be ducking the replies from our longer wheelbase bretheren

    Hey Andy,

    Welcome aboard.

This place has loads of info, and willing respondents. You mentioned tyres, do a search here because there is at least two hundred and fifty seven thousand threads on the subject ().
We all have our preferences but my personal view is a good set of 235/85 MTs will get you started and will sit nicely on the 130 rims.

Love the photos you posted. Looks so much better with mud on it.

Feel free to start a thread in the INTRODUCTIONS section and tell us a little bit about you and your vehicle. (Pssst.....I wont tell anyone about the Hilux )

Also drop in to the FISHING section as it sounds like you may have some interest there.

Oh, and dont forget many of us hang out in the GENERAL section just talking crudola.
