I've picked up the Defender and have a smile from ear to ear. :D Absolutely love it!
Every thing seems to be in good working order apart from the demister/fan. It doesn't seem to work at all. Any hints or tips on where to start looking?
Seems to have plenty of power, gearbox seems nice and tight (though sometimes a bit tough to put in first) transfer case engages nice and smoothly, engine bay is nice and clean (looks a little different to the 300 Tdi Disco which I'm accustomed too)
I'll go over it over the next few days and give it a thourgh inspection and general clean and tidy up and start getting it sorted out for a RWC. Does anyone have or know of where I can download a RWC list from? I've had a search online and all I can find is the general guidelines of things they check, not the actual list they use to tick off.
I'll post some photos when it's not raining.

I've spent the last couple of days going over everything that I can think of for a RWC. I don't think that it needs a lot done to it, just a few things. It needs things like new front indicator lenses, side indicator bulbs, wiper blades, door rubbers, figure out whats going on with the heater/fan and window washer motor and rear brake shoes.
I'm about to send an order off to Paddocks and hopefully will have everything I need next week.
Still yet to get any photos, but hopefully will get some shortly.

If it has any sand blasting from normal driving you will need to replace it.
